The Lonely Road

In the summer of 2003, a heartbroken, unemployed young filmmaker set out on a solo journey across the USA. From surviving tropical storms in New Orleans to trekking through the redwood forests of California, two-time Moth winner Will Clegg takes us on an unforgettable odyssey.

Starting from his childhood home in Charlotte, NC, he explores the vast USA – grieving, learning, and searching for his new purpose in life. This awarding winning show features Clegg’s own black and white photography to illustrate this epic true tale.
